Joe Huczek, founder and president of Main Street Homes, focuses on the present and the future. Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Joe understands the Michigan economy and market. After earning his B.S. in Building Construction Management from Ferris State University in 1990, Joe has dedicated his career to perfecting his skills, increasing his knowledge and constantly raising the bar on homeowner satisfaction. This would eventually lead to the successful launch of his company, Main Street Homes.

Throughout his 20+ years in the industry, Joe has held management positions with both regional and national homebuilding companies, leading top-performing construction, purchasing and customer satisfaction teams. After spending many years managing teams for large scale, production homebuilders, Joe was recruited by a prominent, multi-million dollar homebuilder of ultra luxury homes in Naples, Florida. Joe relocated to Florida and held the position of Director of Operations. This diverse combination of experiences gives Joe a unique depth of skills. During his career, Joe has managed and delivered over 2,000 new homes, ranging from $200,000 starter homes to $20+ million dollar inter-coastal and ocean-front penthouse residences. After relocating back to Michigan in the mid-2000’s, Joe fulfilled his long-time dream of starting his own building company.

Designing your custom home. We start by understanding your needs, expectations, and personal style through open communication from the very beginning. Joe will work with you and his architects to design a home specifically tailored to you and your family.

Building your Home. Once construction of your new home begins, Joe will work hand in hand with his craftsmen and suppliers to ensure that he is achieving the highest level of quality possible through hands-on supervision. Throughout the construction of your home, you will have the opportunity to be directly involved.
